Heartwork: Nurturing Prophetic Communities UK Tour

Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was sent to mankind to perfect and refine the character of humanity. (Sahih Muslim, 273)

The refinement of character is a life long journey and it’s not merely an individual affair for each Muslim. Muslims are part of a wider body and the entire prophetic community has been given a mantle and collective responsibility of living in accordance to the message of prophecy.

Join the Ta’leef team as we visit the United Kingdom and connect with the Muslim institutions across the country to share, collaborate and discuss the etiquette on the prophetic call within the grassroots communities.

Advice for the Journey: Weighty Words, Mondays 5:00 PM PT / 7:00 PM CT

Join us each Monday in this virtual community learning space designed for seekers and newcomers to Islam! Over these 10-weeks we will explore the wisdom in these sacred sayings of God with Mike Swies, Director of Outreach & Community Engagement.

The 31st chapter of the Qur’an is named after a man named Luqman who God describes as an individual given hikmah or “wisdom.” In it there is a conversation where Luqman extolls sagely wisdom to his son. We will reflect on the themes in this Quranic message and derive practical ways to implement them in our journeys of faith as Seekers or Newcomers to Islam.

We will explore advice from those who walked this path before you on various topics ranging from dealing with our loved ones, learning the faith, interfacing with community, seeking mentorship and much more.
