Watch ‘HOPE’, a new Ta’leef Collective Documentary

Peace & greetings,

We are excited to release 'HOPE,' a new Ta'leef Collective Documentary!

HOPE is a short documentary highlighting the work of Maya Shweiky, a high school teacher who is doing her part to make Fremont High School a place of positive growth and learning. Fremont High School is located in the heart of East Oakland, an impoverished area of Oakland, California. Oakland now ranks as the fourth most dangerous city in the United States of America (from amongst America's large cities).

Maya Shweiky takes us on an intimate journey via her work at Fremont High School on what life in East Oakland is like and what the HOPE is for a better future.
